Flavoured cream surprise

Daniel Gullotta is a fine writer and a splendid gentleman. In his spare time, he is known to partake in exciting activities such as wrestling walruses and playing golf with Jesus.

I’m sure you will make him very welcome with the comic as he writes our characters into all sorts of mischeif and mayhem.

I accidently updated all my themes and plugins today and lost the custom theme I had built on top of the regular comic press default theme.
In addition to this, I didn’t backup!

Because of this, the site looks like ass. I’ve put a ticket in with dreamhost to see if they can revert to an older backup, and if that is the case we will be going back to the future doc brown style.

If not… I will have to build the template from scratch again and that will be a huge pain!

UPDATE
####
It took me all day to restore the theme, but we’re back. I’m terribly sorry though because I sacrificed my drawing time to get the site back up and running. This means that I will have to draw Mondays strip tomorrow night after work, along with Wednesdays strip. So yes, tomorrow there will be 2 updates. One for Monday and one for Wednesday, which will bring us back to schedule.

Apologies again for the delay, but now with that over and done with, you can get excited for more comics. I’ll be drawing some new material from a writer who could become the storyteller to helm Ticket to Ride into the future. So far, I’ve read good things.

Hi guys,

It’s been 6 months and things have really settled down here. This is great news!

Unfortunately this great news does come laced with bad. We have lost our writer in the 6 months we’ve been on hiatus, so I’m currently looking for new talent. I’ve had a few offers so hopefully the production pipe should be primed and pumping out new material very soon. I will keep you informed on the progress.

I’ll do some fun, no story-line comics on Wednesday and Friday, simply because I miss drawing the characters, but I’m hoping to have some narrative in production in the next week or two.

So what has been happening in these last 6 months that has kept me from drawing? This is an interesting question, let me give you a run down:

  • Graduated university and started my career in web-design.
  • Attended to Supanova Melbourne and Perth.
  • Traveled to the states for Comic-con (WHICH WAS AWESOME!).

Thanks for the patience to all the readers who have checked in over the months.

So sorry everyone. I hate it that I have no time since I started my new job to do anything. HATE HATE HATE!!

Look, if you are checking in, I will bring you something to look at when I can. I may not have time to do a 3 a week webcomic schedule, but I am working on the comicbook for ticket to ride still. Worst case scenario, I will post the pages online here as they are created.

If you would like notification, so you don’t have to keep checking the website, feel free to add me as a friend on twitter or facebook. I will send notifications through there anytime I update.

My new job is great though, I really do love it. I’m working as a Web Designer in Perth city (Australia). I’ve just done my first month at the office.

Hello everybody.

I thought I would keep you in the loop. Ali and I are experiencing a few delays with the comic due to a few things that are really exciting for us, but not so much for you.

Ali recently started a new job as a Radio morning show host. She is on air from 6am – 10am doing the breakfast show. With the early starts and taking care of her family, she only has night times to write scripts.

And then there’s me. I’ve just started a new job this week doing Web design.

So apologies for the delays, but there should be new comics from this week onwards. I have had a side project holding me up and that will be done with this week, allowing me to resume the drawing.

Wednesday or Friday we should hopefully be back up and running. See you then :)
